Pentuim 4 an RH6.2

Appologies if this has been covered before:

I have come across some references on the difficulties of installing older
RH distributions on a Pentium 4 machine (CPUID database doesnt list this
processor)- there is supposed to be a work-around on the redhat site which
I cannot find, can someone post a reference for it please.
