I've installed postfix on rh 6.2, unfortunetly the tarball doesn't come with
a startup script to add with ntsysv, it seems only the rpm does.

Does anyone know how to create a initialization script to put in
/etc/rc.d/rc3.d dir, like S80postfix or something along those lines, so i
can have postfix start on boot,..i don't want to have to use rc.local to
start postfix...and also, one more thing, I woul like to have my system
email me everytime it gets rebooted, i tried adding the line:

mail -s "going down for reboot- server8" [EMAIL PROTECTED] < /dev/null

but it seems to hang, what should the proper line be, someone helped me with
this issue previously, but maybe i'm typing it wrong...

thanks
