I am having a real big problem with rpm on my rhl 7.0 system. Best as I
can remember, this is what happened.
After installing Nautilus preview release 3 complete with rpm 4.0.2 , I
realized that that up2date was broken.
I then reinstalled the stock redhat rpm rpms (4.0-4). This fixed my
up2date problems, but I now find myself unable
to install the lates roms from Nautilus, red carpet and KDE 2.1; when I
try to install these from the command line I get
a segmentation fault and core dump. I have tried rpm -rebuilddb; it did
not fix the problem. Any ideas?
