Usually it was within two months of beta.  It's harder to tell now because
there seems to be somewhat critical updates happening in the kernel, like a
carrot in front of a horse. up2date needs to be absolutely fixed and there
are some complaints about the locale stuff from glibc (ie, sorting files is
whack).  It looks like RH is waiting till others get their act together
before releasing the distro.

Of course, once a beta is announced, revenue is stunted.  RH is mindful to
get "something" out quickly to make some sales.  It's a fine line.

PS. My crystal ball says RH 7.1 will be out Apr 1st.  (Fools' day).
