Ya know... I'm having the same problem. I can SSH in instantaneously, and I
*do* have a "hosts" file with the IP addresses of the machines on my LAN in my
linux box. Do you think it'd speed things up if I copied the same file to my
Windows box? I thought the delay was the linux box.... now I'm not so sure...
