BH>Hi,
BH> I have set up a new RH7 server as a file and print server
BH>using Samba. I have all the RH updates and errata installed
BH>- esp. xinetd update. I have check the swat configuration
BH>file in /etc/xinetd.d and it looks okay. Samba is running.
BH>/etc/services lists port 901 as a swat port. ps ax | grep
BH>swat does not show any running instance of swat and attempts
BH>to connect with netscape at http://localhost::901 ,
BH>http://127.0.0.1:901 and other all fail with the message
BH>that the server is not accepting connections or is not
BH>ready.
BH>
BH> After checking the swat config file under xinetd.d I did a
BH>/etc/rc.d/init.d/xinetd restart and all seemed to go okay.
BH>
BH> Any ideas of where to start looking? Help appreciated.
