In case anyone runs into it, I figured I would post this as well.

I have recently upgraded a machine to 2.4.2-ac9 and when I finished
compiling the kernel, I get the message from RH7.0 that states that
lockdsrv has failed. According to e-mails that I have found, this service
has now been incorporated into the kernel and a script to start it is not
required anymore. All you need to do is shut the service off and the
machine will will come up clean without issue.

If anyone else knows of any other fixes for this problem, let me know.

Otherwise, I hope someone benefits from this.

Thanks

Kevin Wood
