What kind of SCSI controller are you using (if any) ? I've found
that the 'new' AIC7xxx driver in Fisher and Wolverine consistently
panics during boot on a dual-Pentium system. I booted UP, built a
new kernel with the 'old' AIC7xxx driver and it works, as far as I
can tell, like a charm. This must be a well-known issue but I'm a
novice at the RH bug-search tool so I could not find it. I notice that
Wolverine's SMP kernel seems to be built with the old AIC7xxx
driver by default now.
