I'm looking for information on updating the RedHat installer for RedHat 6.2. What I'd like to do is put a newer version of the DAC960 driver into the installer so that it will work properly with the currently available Mylex RAID controllers. If anyone can point me at documentation or tips on how to modify this part of the RedHat distribution. The goal is to be able to have the controller recognized during the boot process and properly install RedHat onto the RAID array. This works well with the earlier versions of the Mylex controllers (which are no longer available) but may not work with the current models.
