I haven't tried rpm -q cdrecord since I installed cdrecord as a tarball.
cdrecord seems to be working ok cdrecord -scanbus finds my scsi cdwriter
9although it does not see it as any more than a cdrom) and I haven't tried
burning anything yet.  NH.
