Look in /etc/mail/access. It should look something like this:
# Allow relay from localhost
127.0.0.1 RELAY
# Allow relay from local LAN.
192.168.1 RELAY
Then restart sendmail to have it rebuild and use it's db files. If that does
not work, rebuild your sendmail.cf file starting with the default redhat.mc
file, which disables relaying.
