Hi David,
        You are probably right about that.  Somehow I don't think you
could run Xnest on that box.  I don't know anything about checkpoint -
can it be set to forward a specific port connection from the internet to
a specific machine/port inside the firewall?  One thing you could do is
to pick an unused port, and have it forwarded to port 22 on you office
machine.  You are running a form of Unix on the office machine, right?
That way, you can use the port option on ssh to connect to that port on
the firewall instead of the normal port 22.

        Now, for tracking down the software you need:
OpenSSL         -       RedHat updates.
OpenSSH         -       http://www.openssh.com/portable.html
                        pick a mirror, and download the RPMs.

You realy should get ssh anyway.  It is a much safer way to access
machines over the Internet!
