Hello Everyone,

I am having a problem keeping the IP addresses up on my server. I do have
the ONBOOT flag set to "yes" in each ifcfg file, but there are a few of them
that do are not started upon bootup and I must manually do that.

Can anyone guide me on writing a utility that will make sure that my IP's
are running and if they are not, restart them. I would probably want to run
it every 30 minutes or so.

Also, there are a few IP's that do not get very many hits and it seems that
they become "offline" and will not respond to ping after no one trying to
access them for either days or weeks at a time.

Any help is appreciated,

Kevin
