Go to the Ximian ftp site at ftp.ximian.com and drill down to the red-carpet
directory. You will need to apply all the other rpms in that directory INCLUDING
another one not there: the libgnomeprint11 rpm. Go to rufus.w3.org and enter
libgnomeprint11 in the search field on the home page. Then just download the one
for your distro. Since these rpms are all mutually dependent, you will get a
bunch of errors if you try to apply them one at a time. You can either give the
--nodeps switch to each rpm or string them all together on the rpm install line.
I really like red carpet. Makes it incredibly easy to stay tuned up on new
releases of various pieces of software. The latest Evolution build is awesome
except the compose window won't come up for me in mail. Sigh....such is the life
of beta drops...
