Twas no accident... I use the site (as I know you know) as an electronic
documentation center and when I find something worthwhile I add it to
the site... I have two different kinds of content searches available
now... MySQL and htdig so I am working towards being able to provide
docmentation and archives... the, as yet unstated goal, is that if you
want to do something network related with Linux you can either find out
how to do it or hire us to do it all from the same place! :-) So the
site is definitely a "dot" com (yeah... I gotta make a living) but I'm
going to provide every bit of relevant, targeted content I can find at
no charge to the community... including archives of a bunch of lists...
In the beginning (for those who don't know) I was pissed off that RH
didn't provide searchable archives so I started doing it for myself in
the office and then I thought that it wasn't really a big deal to
provide it for everybody else, so I did. Things kind of got out of
control from there... :-)
Now that the LinuxMall gig is over for me the site is only going to get
better and better as time passes... so you good folks who use the site
can look for more improvements coming down the line... the next really
important one will be a hardware upgrade... I'll be upgrading from a
single PII 233 which is what it's been since 1997 to a dual PIII 500. I
already have the processors with me here in Colorado and am hand
carrying them back to North Carolina... all I will have to get is a dual
processor board and I can do the upgrade that day 'cause the machine
already has a pile of RAM and disks in it....
I'm also going to upgrade it from a hodge-podge of 6.x vintage software
to 7.x and run a 2.4.x kernel...
Now... as to my procmail scripting... it ain't bad... it ain't bad! :-)
