Hi List,
I have been tring to increse the virtual address space from 1 gb to 3
gb can please tell what needs to be changed in what?.
i acme to know about brk() mnap () for larger memory allocations is
there any way
that i put brk() it self to address 3 gb of virtual address space
Iam useing 2.2.18 with 2 gb of physical RAM .
my some of the eda applications die saying no memory after hitting 1 gb
limit .
please help me out i am struggling with this , i tried incresing shared
memory in include/asm/shparm.h
incresd it from 0*200000 to 0*400000
this incresed the buffer memory to a large extent .
is this issue addressed in 2.4 kernel ?
