This might be silly of me, but I'm noting, below, that you went through
the process of "repartitioning".

I am, therefore, assuming that you used one of the Linux tools...disk
druid or fdisk.

Assuming, then, that you used one of those tools, and then erased and
created/recreated partitions, then I'm going to tell you that the only OS
you now have on your machine is RH7.  Windows is no longer anyplace to be
found.

The problem is that you did repartition...when you erase a partition, and
then create a smaller one, you generally lose whatever was in the original
partition.  And knowing computer manufacturers as I do, your drive
originally came with Win98 in one huge partition, which took up the whole
drive.

You really needed to use fips, parted or Partition Magic to shrink the
partition, first, and then install Linux in the resulting free space.
