If they are on different drives, them two 128M partitions will be faster
then one 256M. This is assuming that you are actualy using swap space.
On a system that doen't use much swap space, it will make no difference.
On a single drive, system usage and where the swap space is located on
the disk make a difference. If you seldom use more then 6M of swap
space, then it will not make much difference how you have your swap
partitions. On the onther hand, if you use a lot of swap space, and the
swap partitions are on the same disk, but one is at the start, and one
is at the end of the disk, then swapping will be slower then if you only
had one swap file because both swap files will be used, and you will get
a lot of head travel.
