Good morning.

I have 3 partitions on 2 hard drives, all mounted, all that I want to
be able to export via nfs.

/ (hda6)
/var (hda5)
/home (hdb1)

If I export / insert.ip.address.here(rw,no_root_squash,insecure), it
exports / just fine, but on the machine which has mounted /, I can
not traverse into /home or /var...anything not in the /dev/hda6
partition is not accessible.

Why is this? In earlier version, I could mount / and be able to go
anywhere I needed to, regardless of how the host system was
partitioned/mounted. The client system could mount / (if allowed)
and go anywhere on the filesystem that it needed to.

So...what is the problem, here, and how do I fix it, short of
reinstalling the OS on an HD with a single partition/filesystem.
