There is a number of things you can do:

- Find the RPM on your RH7 CDROM

- Go to rpmfind.net and look for an updated version that is specifically
for RH7

- Use another pop server

Chances are there are functions used in the version of qpopper that you
have that are not compatible with the new system libraries installed as a
result of the upgrade.
