Hi, I tried to install a package from rpm file, but failed like this: [root] rpm -i packagename.i386.rpm error: failed dependencies: /usr/local/bin/perl is needed by packagename [root]# which perl /usr/local/bin/perl There is a perl in /usr/local/bin, what does this message mean then? The rpm is made under redhat 6.0, I think, and I am trying to install it under redhat 7.0 OS, will this be the problem? Thanks, Xin _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
