There is currently no distro that will simply install and run on o2's or Octanes, in a 
similar manner to installing it on an x86 box. It's my understanding that SGI is 
working on it though. Check out www.sgi.com/linux/

P.S. You might consider volunteering to help with the work. I'm sure there's not too 
many spare o2's sitting around for testing. Please let me (and "us" if you want) know 
how it goes!
