I'm trying to set up DHCP on my Linux 6.2 system. I used the rpm from the
redhat site which appears to be ISC DHCP 2.0

I have two lan cards, one for the outside on the regular static address
given me by the ISP (eth0) and one on the internal side which I set to
10.1.1.1 (eth1)

It doesn't seem to matter what I set the various addresses or options to in
/etc/dhcp.conf I always get the following error:

"Can't bind to dhcp address: Address already in use."

I search Redhat and google and I see lots of instances where people have the
same problem, but no-one seems to have posted an answer.

Do I need to regen a kernel with some special device support? Or do I need
to set the card (eth1) up differently?

Any ideas as to why the seems to behave this way?

Chris
