My personal experience is: they'll still ask. People tend to see what's
at the end of messages as a signature of sorts, and we're all used to seeing
signatures from other people, some short, some long, and whatever information
is tacked at the bottom is generally skipped/ignored.
I know, I have this same problem over the various Mailman lists I manage.
It doesn't matter how many times they get told to read the end, there's the
link, the link is your friend, un/subscribe, manage, sex change, dating
service, free money, it gets ignored. (okay, you get the idea)
