Hello all--
We have a network with some servers running NT and some services provided
off of a Novell Netware. I would like to know if it is possible to do a
PCMCIA install from such a network. I also believe that we are behind a
fire-wall.
I tried this once and the stage where the lap-top contacts the DHCP server
fails. The install system fails to either find a DHCP server or to get an
IP address from it. Now, I tried the install with a static IP, this one
fails at the stage where the FTP server is to be contacted for down
loading the system files. Can anyone suggest as to whats going on here? I
am a relative newcomeer to Linux.
