I'm sending this to the redhat-list as opposed to the BIND list, since
it happens only on one of my RedHat 5.2 machines at home. The 6.2 version
seems fine and the 5.2 version on another machine works fine. This leads
me to believe I have some strange misconfiguration on my machine at home.
I installed the three bind RPMs for RedHat 6.2 last night. I discovered
that if I specify a nameserver in the "host" command, I get a delay of
several seconds followed by a segmentation fault. If I don't specify a
nameserver, "host" works fine. It doesn't seem to matter what kind of
lookup or what particular nameserver I specify.

Before the update, "host" worked normally. I don't remember what version
that was, though it was Bind 8.x as opposed to the Bind 4.x that shipped
with 5.2.
This isn't a big deal -- I hope to replace this machine soon --- but
it would be nice to know the cause, so any ideas would be appreciated.
