That is the OS that he says he is using for the current
compaq so I assume he will use the same. I agree use 6.2 if
you want. I used 6.0 because that was the most recent
release at the time. Was not really ages ago. We did not use
the x server side of it and it ran very smooth as a dialup
server at that time though I remember upgrading some ppp
packages and recompiling the kernel once. I only remember
rebooting it once in 1 and 1/2 years and that was after a
kernel recompile to allow for cyclades compatibly. I was
running 4.2 before that and slackware before that so 6.0 was
a real improvement.
