Hi Mark,
        Hmm... you definitly need the 1st one.  You need the second one if
you want to use ssh to log into other servers /from/ your redhat box.  You
need the third one to log in using ssh from your windows box.  The four and
fifth only make sence if you installed the second.  They let you use the ssh
key agent.  It lets you give your ssh key once at the beginning of the
session and then use multiple times within that session to log into other
servers.  This only makes sence if you are using public key encrytpion on
the other servers.  The last one is the same as the forth one except it uses
the gnome tool kit for the x11 app that asks for your password.

Installing all of them won't do any harm but you need at least openssh and
openssh-server for the situation you're describing.  I'm not aware of any
HOWTOs (but there's bound to be one out there some where) but really it's
pretty simple.  Unless you're getting into its more advanced features like
port forwarding you can use it just like an encrypted telnet.
