First off, why are you asking the same question, twice?

In any event, the nst0 is the non-rewind device.  That allows you to
easily write multiple backup/tar files to the same tape.  Instead of
rewinding the tape when it is finished reading or writing, it just stops the
tape where it is.  You can then write the next file onto the tape, or read
the next file.
