well, we have progress. for the first time, when i phoned agenda,
i got to talk to a human being who, yes indeed, confirmed that they
should be shipping me a unit some time next week.

does this placate me? not as much as it should. i'm hoping
agenda takes some of the money they're getting and puts it
into training some of their customer service reps. i'm still
thoroughly aggravated at having received no confirmation
(none, nada, zip) when i put in my original order, at having
no responses to my email queries, and also a little peeved
that they cashed my cheque over a week ago but won't ship
me anything until *next* week.

so far, in my opinion, they're getting a failing grade.
am i being overly critical? well, given that they're going
after palm's market, which by all accounts is pretty darn
satisfied with what they have, anyone looking to break into
that market had better be doing something really spectacular
to make a dent. and i haven't seen that yet.
