Agreed it seems strangely low but I don't know what the cause and/or
implications of it might be.  It is concievable that your system is just
mostly idle at the point... but that would seem to be very idle indeed.  3
or 4 daemon connections (incoming telnet for instance) would seem to be
enough to reach 12.  I'm afraid I can't think of too much of help in this
instance - sorry.
