Yes I thought it was discussed but I could not figure out how to find
the information from the list archives on the RH site - still a newbie.
Now I tried to upgrade again as the versions on the CD were newer than
those on the machine - apparently going from 6.2 to 7.0 did not update
all the packages. However, I now have a kernel panic and the machine is
not bootable.
Additionally, I cannot seem to get a satisfactory boot image from the
Install CD-ROM no matter what I try. Also, I cannot find a copy of the
'boot.img' for RH 7.0 anywhere on the RH site. I don't think that I can
use the image for RH 6.2
I think that I have been hosed bigtime!!!
