This isn't related to the kernel being 2.4, but my initial kernel detected
and loaded a sound module, which I no longer want since this is a server. I
built the 2.4 kernel and now I get the following:
Jan 5 13:56:20 hitler modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module cmpci
Jan 5 13:56:33 hitler kernel: ttyS00 at 0x03f8 (irq = 4) is a 16550A
Jan 5 13:56:20 hitler rc.sysinit: Loading sound module (cmpci) failed
Where can I configure it so that it does not try and load this module? This
is a RH 6.2 machine.
