You won't see anything in kernel config about ata100 or ata66, but the new
kernel will support it if you turn it on with hdparm.  i think the switch
is -X69.  I'm pretty sure the 2.4 kernels support ata100 also, in case you
want to try that out.  I've seen significant speed increases with the 2.4
kernels.  i've been running them since test5.  You will see a speed increase
for sure.
