I know this is simple but I am stuck in Solaris mode. Where is the proper place to put static routes and configure other interfaces. I am adding a second IP address to eth0, done form the command line as follows: ifconfig eth0:2 <ip add> broadcast <bcast add> netmask <netmask> Also adding a 2nd default gateway route add default gw <ip address> I was placing these in /etc/rc.d/rc.local, but it was doing the same thing as if I did it from the command line.
