i dunno whats up with diskdruid.  when i got to that step, it wasn't a matter 
of not being able to hit the next button for me, it was a matter of diskdruid 
not letting me make partitions.  so i just used fdisk.

ahh, try this...
you need 3 partitions:
/
/boot
(a swap partition)

the root partition is called "/" not "/root".  also, you need to use forward 
slashes (/), not backslashes (\).  

lastly, your swap partition (i think swap partitions are nameless), needs to 
be of format "linux swap", not "linux" or "linux native" or whatever...

hope the problem is as simple as that...
