Hi, Dearest John, Reader, Ray & others !

Your support is incredible and I am thankful to you people. I visied REALLY CHAEP
site: -
"http://cart.cheapbytes.com/cgi-bin/cart" and found many titles of interest there.

(1) Pls can any body tell me, does the title

"CheapBytes Red Hat 6.2 x86 Install + Source + Doc" $4.99

contains all necessary tools i.e. xwindows,Internet connectivity tools & Browser etc ?

Or I should go for "Linux 7.2 Mandrake" which one is better?

(2) I have 2-partitions 600-MB of each of my 1.2 GB HDD, in the 1st (primery) part, I
have Win98 booting, and in the extended (secondary) part, I have Linux 5.0 with LILO
boot manager, from I can switch to either OS at starting booting time. Inside Linux,
the setup utility shows me the following partions:-
/ /dev/hda5 ext2
/usr /dev/hda6 ext2
swap /dev/hda7 swap
/mnt/floppy /dev/fd0 ext2
/mnt/cdrom /dev/cdrom isofs
/proc none proc

However, it does not show the Primery partitionon, the one on which I have Win98
installed. Any thing I downlod is residing on the taht part, since I have Internet
connetivity from Win98/Explorer.

How can I mount that partition in Linux, in order to use all files available on the
that drive.
(3) What are format of executables (extension) in Linux, and where to find them. Does
dos's / win's EXE,COM run there ?

your answer awaited.

Err...not quite. SUPPOSEDLY if you send an email to the
request address with the word "password" either in the
subject or the body (not sure which) it'll send you back
your password.
