I would get a bottle of cheap liquid fabric softener at the grocery store. Find a large spray bottle too. Mix about 70% fabric softener to 30% water. You may need to experiment with the mix. Spray all carpets and chairs. If anyone says that you can't damage your equipment with static electricity, they are wrong. You are generating at a minimum 3000 volts. When you see a blue arc jump from your finger to your equipment, your making about 5k or 6k volts. That is extremely bad for your equipment. You can easily blow out network cards, serial ports, parallel ports, keyboards and ports, etc. One good heavy spray should last about a month depending on the environment. Mitchell K.
