Probably IS  a hardware issue.  We just went through a similar scenario but no
windows.  Turned out to be the brnad new out of the box mother board ( one of
four) after swapping out every cable memory harddrive processor and even the
power supply figured it had to be the problem.  Sometimes the install would
make it and sig 11 after the reboot most times it would fail during the
install.  Drove me crazy.  Couldn't be the new parts right?  Wrong.
