Hi again,
Got my masquerade box working again. It is obvious that I
was hacked - that led to numerous "problems" with poorly
directed ipchains - but my question: I am at RH 6.2, don't
want to tackle iptables at this time. I I use the original
6.2 CD to "upgrade" the installed 6.2 system will any
tampered files be overwritten with clean files?
Perhaps a stupid question, but one whose answer I can't
find in the books.
