Hello folks, I was to qucik in my yesterday announcement that problems concerning StarOffice/Gnome 1.2 have disappeared after reinstallation. I want to write a bug report to RH- Bugzilla, this is for the first time...... Because of a lacking core dump after the crashes I don't really know how to use the bug tracking agent (whom is reacting upon cores ) and want to identify the source of troubles.... First let me give a short description of what happens: 1. start of SO every thing works fine till I used the arrows/crtl buttons, suddently the error message appeared: An unrecoverable error occured. All modified files have been saved and will be recovered at the next startup. (sorry thats my lousy translation of a german message !) 2. Next startup first the Sun logo apears, finally StarOffice- Desktop is initialized; logo stays at the screen and blocks every trial to get acess to the menues of StarOffice 3. Killing of SO, next start everything is like described at 2. I think this could be a bug of the libs, I recently updated the new glibc 2.2.x (upgrade of glibc 2.1-94), maybe StarOffice is not compatible to this lib. Another point might be that this resource killing SOffice needs more memory than 64 MB RAM.
