SMBMOUNT gives errors... (sorry for double posting: stupid error: send in HTML)

I can access my smb-share (on a remote machine) through " smbclient
'\\HOSTNAME\SHARENAME' ", but when doing " smbmount
'\\HOSTNAME\SHARENAME' -c 'mount /home/samba/dir' " it gives a "mount error:
No such device".

Anybody got a clue?!
