Good day, all, I just upgraded my RedHat 7.0 workstation to the just-released Openssh-2.3.0pl1. When I try to ssh to the machine called mail, I get: [wstearns@sparrow wstearns]$ ssh mail autodetect SSH_BUG_SIGBLOB Received packet with bad string length 2035794592 The number in the second line changes at each attempt. The output from a verbose connection attempt can be found at the end of this message. I can, however, get to the mail machine by going through a third machine (called relay): [wstearns@sparrow wstearns]$ ssh relay Enter passphrase for DSA key '/home/wstearns/.ssh/id_dsa': wstearns@relay's password: Last login: Tue Nov 28 2000 01:04:52 -0500 You have mail. [wstearns@relay wstearns]$ ssh mail Accepting host mail key without checking. wstearns@mail's password: Last login: Sat Nov 25 2000 21:05:38 -0500 You have mail. [wstearns@mail wstearns]$ I apologize that I don't know what details are needed to track this down. Is it simply the case that the sshd on mail needs to be upgraded? Thanks in advance! I'll be glad to supply any details that might be helpful in tracking this down.
