Well, in fairness, if I for example followed the routine outlined in the
original subscription mail I got, I'd get nowhere, as the unsubscription
routine has changed since I subscribed... ;-)
Seriously, though - that seems to be part of the problem. Also, the word
"unsubscribe" really should be mentioned in the mail footers - and also
be prominent on the web page. Small changes which potentially could make
life easer for the list members.

However, as they say: Invent an idiot-proof system and nature will
invent a better idiot. Ah well... ;-)
