I've changed .pinerc as you suggeested. Result:
Although pine can now *send* the messages, the 'From' adress
it is sending is wrong:
my correct email-Adress is
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
and I need this adress to be able to post on this list.
But pine takes, when writing my mail-adress into the
'from' part of the mails I sent, my login-username for
Linux and writes it before the domain-part of this
adress, like so:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
my GNU/LINUX_login_user_name is *not* 'pfeifferw' ...
I checked the various manuals for a solution ...
without success ...
