Konqueror abysmally slow

Hello, list!

I was attempting to move some websites that I have developed (about 300 megs
of information) from one directory to another, and I noticed that when I
attempted to move these files, it would move several of them over, then
pause for quite a while, at least up to half an hour.

Has anyone else experienced this?
