Well I'm having the same problems.  I've had it running for over an hour
now...

I've downloaded the RPMs and the packages.xml along with the
installer-rpm4-intel install program.

Running the installer locally (not over the net) on a RH 7.0 box the installer
just sits there and chews up CPU.
