i got the bz2 sources from kde's site,,installed keeping my old 1.1.2
system intact,,restarted and kde2 came up fine...BUT what got me in
trouble.........was since kmail was crashing on me......not realizing
silly me that i was starting kmail old version ..uninstalled (rpm -e )
1.1.2 stuff and then kde no longer was option on login GUI..go
fig.....but i got help from lists and am fine now...kde2 allowed me to (
since my goof ) ADD gnome to the login GUI and from there all
fine.........
anyway that was my path....... :)
