The problem with the majority of the virus scanners for Linux, is the fact
that they need to be run manually, or triggered by an event such as the
receiving of e-mail. From what I understood from the original post, the
ideal situation would be a virus engine that runs as a daemon, continually
scanning any file activity on the server, as well as http and ftp activity.
To date, I have only found one that promises to do this, "KasperSkyLab @
www.kasperskylab.ru", but was unable to get the daemon section to work.
