Hi, Recently ran into the following error messages on a 6.2 Redhat box: Oct 29 12:09:43 natasha2 kernel: kmem_alloc: Bad slab magic (corrupt) (name=vm_area_struct) Oct 29 12:09:43 natasha2 kernel: kmem_alloc: Bad slab magic (corrupt) (name=vm_area_struct) It would not allow any program to execute, even "ls". So bad we had to power off the box to restart. All was then back to normal. First thought was is a memory error. Second, the box is in room that got a little toasty which could have flipped out the memory. Anyone ever run into the above messages? Thanks, Ed Brokendown.net (If it isn't working, it must be Broken). _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
